Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 20, 2026

This policy explains how Kinande+, owned by Jeremie Vindu and published by StartBoomDigital.com, handles information when you use the Kinande–French–English dictionary application.

Information we process

How information is used

We use this information only to create and secure accounts, send verification and password-recovery emails, synchronize dictionary content, attribute and moderate contributions, answer support requests, prevent abuse, and maintain the service.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising. Information is processed only by infrastructure providers needed to host the API, database, and transactional email service, or when disclosure is required by law.

Security and retention

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes and network requests use HTTPS. Account data is kept while your account is active. Short-lived verification codes and sessions expire automatically. Operational backups and security logs may remain for a limited period before routine deletion.

Your choices

You can change your name, language, or password in the app. You can delete offline app data without deleting your account. You can permanently delete your account and its associated personal data from the Profile screen or use the public account-deletion page.

Children

Kinande+ accounts and contribution features are currently intended only for people aged 18 or older. The dictionary remains accessible when no adult age range is declared, but account creation and contributions are unavailable. Kinande+ does not currently provide child accounts or parental-consent verification.
